An Explanation

Hello this is Christopher, aka eriol, I'll give an explanation of my name esp. in light of this morning's jr-high parent meeting today. First off it has nothing to do with the Little Mermaid (confusion is possible) and it's not a camp name. It's taken from JRR Tolkien's Book of Lost Tales and means "he who dreams alone." It fits me pretty well considering it is both pretentious and strange. My internet persona is different from how I am face-to-face, plus it allows me to remain unknown in a few of my other bloggy dealings.

This is for my fellow staff members: there were questions about the ability to regulate the content of the comments, since myac_staff is an administrator of this blog, so anyone of you who makes up myac_staff can delete comments when needed. Also, as I am not an admin. for this blog my posts can be deleted without needing my permission. Finally! You can shut me up!

I think the parents were worried about outside influences bringing foul language and other things, but in my experience of being a blogger the biggest problem is that of people using the faceless aspects of the internet and starting fights with other commentors and bloggers. Just visit random blogs and you'll see it. The church-related aspect of this blog makes it a little tricky, but we should do fine as we're less prone to fights over theology.
