Alright Folks. Here is the listings of the past four times I have taught in Jr. High. Below is the title, verses, and what time it was taught.
Week 1 - The Power of Listening
*Ecclessiastes 5:1-3
*John 10: 3-5
Challenge: Are you quieting your heart to listen to God?

Week 2 - Consequences
?What types of consequences (Good or Bad) have you experience before?
?What comes to your mind when you hear the word "consequences"?
?How many have played one or more of the following games that have bodily harm related to them:
-Any military game
-Battlefront
-Tony Hawk ProSkater
-SuperSmash Bros. Melee
-WWE Wrestling
-Etc.
?Would we play them if instead of a warning about epilleptic shocks it read: ANY AND ALL ACTION INVOLVING CHARACTER WILL RESULT IN PLAYER'S CONSEQUENCES. (Awards=winning awards in real life; Harm= Hurting body afterward)
*Ecclessiastes 11:9 (Do what you want but remember you are accountable before God)
?What are some talents/Passions God has given you?
*Matthew 25:14-30 (Parable of the servants)
Challenge: God has given you talents. How can you use them for his glory?

Week 3 - Heart, Soul, and Mind.
?What is the most important thing for a Christian to remember and act upon?
HEART [Passions and Desires]:
*Proverbs 4:23 (Guard your heart)
*Proverbs 20:5 (The heart is unsearchable)
*Proverbs 27:19 (Face is a reflection of the heart)
*Proverbs 21:2 & 17:3 (God tests the heart)
*Psalm 86:11 (Undivided Heart)
Beware because the heart can overtake the mind.
MIND [Intelligence and Strength]:
?What is so important about your mind?
coolset power: Mind Control. You could get away with anything.
"Be careful how you think. Your life is shaped by your thoughts."
-King Solomon
*Proverbs 4:8 (Think about good things)
*Phillipians 15:26 (God detests impure thoughts)
SOUL [Personal Goals]:
?What's important about the soul?
ISAAC DEFENTION: The center of a person defined as the driving force behind their goals and will to fight.
*Psalms 42: 1 -11 (Surrender to God)
*Psalms 130: 5 & 6 (Patient with ambitions)
Challenge: Are we willing to surrender our attitudes, thoughts/personal power, and very personal drives that make us who we are to God?

Week 4 - Friendship
?When you are looking for a friend (Say you are shopping on ebay) what are three things that you look for?
?Do you organize your friends into certain groupings?
?Why do we need friends?
*Genesis 2:18 (Not good for man to be alone)
*Ecclessiastes 4:9-12 (Power of two)
?Have you ever had a best friend?
?Why were they your best friend?
*1 Samuel 18:1-4 (David and Jonathan joined by the spirit)
*1 Samuel 20:41 & 42 (Parting friendship that lasted for generations to come)
*Proverbs 18:25 (Friend that sticks closer than a brother)
*Ruth 1:11-18 (Giving up everything for a friend)
*Ruth 4:14 & 15 (Better that many sons)
Challenge: How can you be a true friend to those around you? Are you a friend that only takes, or builds up others around you?
